Here is a proof of concept for a new product we are offering. Cinemagraphs combine the best of quality still photography and motion elements from video.
‘Pool on Deck’ wins award.
My photo called ‘Pool on Deck’ was just awarded first place feature photo by the Michigan Press Association. The photo was taken last summer when I and reporter Cole Waterman sailed on the Roald Amundsen from Cleveland to Bay City. Crew members made a pool from milk crates and a tarp to beat the heat when there was no wind filling the sails.
High Corn Prices
For the first time in many years, corn prices have risen above wheat prices during wheat harvest. Rick Esenman is a corn farmer in Bay County Michigan.
‘Crossing’ : A short film
I just finished my latests short film. I filmed it late last summer in the Straits of Mackinac, just down the road from Mackinaw City in Michigan. If you look closely, you can see Mackinac Island in the background below the bridge.
Craig Julian Trial
Here are some highlights from the Craig Julian trial that wrapped up this week. He was found guilty of first degree murder in the death of Lynn Spicer. His brother Jeff Julian did the deed, but Craig was complicit in the act.
